- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including advertising roles, vetting candidates, coordinating interviews, and issuing employment contracts
- Act as the first point of contact for all HR-related queries, providing professional guidance to employees and management
- Maintain and manage accurate digital and electronic employee records in compliance with GDPR requirements
- Administer payroll processes and maintain accurate records of annual leave, sickness, and attendance
- Oversee onboarding processes, including right-to-work checks and new hire inductions
- Manage employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, and performance management processes
- Implement and monitor HR policies and procedures in line with current UK employment legislation
- Coordinate and deliver learning and development initiatives, including organising training programmes and tracking employee progress
- Drive employee engagement, wellbeing initiatives, and retention strategies
- Contribute to the development and implementation of HR strategies aligned with business objectives
- Manage workforce planning activities and organisational development initiatives
- Analyse HR metrics such as turnover, absence, and performance trends to inform decision-making
- Coordinate HR events, meetings, and internal communications
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR best practices and employment legislation
Sponsorship & Compliance Responsibilities:
- Manage Home Office Sponsorship duties in line with Skilled Worker visa requirements
- Maintain accurate and compliant records for all sponsored employees
- Monitor and update the Sponsor Management System (SMS) in accordance with UKVI requirements
- Report relevant changes to the Home Office, including absences, salary changes, job role updates, and visa status changes
- Ensure full compliance with UKVI regulations through regular monitoring and internal audits
- Conduct and verify all right-to-work checks in accordance with legal requirements
Desirable Skills:
- Previous experience in office environment (minimum 2 years preferred)
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR practices
- Ability to build effective working relationships at all levels
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Proficient IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- CIPD qualification (Level 5 or above) preferred
Eligibility:
- Minimum 2 years work experience in any field
- CIPD Level 5 (preferred)
- Masters in HR or similar field
