FlexiGroup NZ (now operating under Humm Group branding) is a New Zealand consumer finance company that provides point-of-sale finance, credit products, and personal lending solutions for retail and commercial customers.An experienced Loan Assessment Specialist is responsible for assessing complex loan applications, making sound credit decisions, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring compliance with lending policies and regulatory requirements. Experienced Loan Assessment Specialist – Job Description Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and approve or recommend approval for personal, home, business, and commercial loan applications.
• Conduct detailed financial and credit analysis using credit reports, financial statements, bank statements, and supporting documentation.
• Evaluate applicants' income, debt-to-income ratios, repayment capacity, and overall creditworthiness.
• Identify and mitigate lending risks while ensuring responsible lending practices.
• Ensure all loan applications comply with internal credit policies, regulatory requirements, and anti-money laundering (AML) procedures.
• Liaise with customers, relationship managers, brokers, underwriters, and other stakeholders to obtain additional information and resolve application issues.
• Prepare clear credit recommendations and maintain accurate loan documentation.
• Monitor loan quality and identify potential risks within the lending portfolio.
• Mentor and support junior loan assessors and contribute to process improvements.
• Maintain high service standards while meeting productivity and turnaround time targets.

Pay: $6,250.00 – $7,900.00 per monthBenefits:
