Key ResponsibilitiesProvide first-line (L1) IT support to employees and system usersTroubleshoot hardware issues including PCs, laptops, printers, and peripheralsResolve software issues such as Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and business applicationsSupport network connectivity issues including Wi-Fi, LAN, and VPN accessInstall, configure, and maintain computers, applications, and IT equipmentManage user accounts, password resets, and access permissionsSupport onboarding by setting up devices and user accounts for new employeesEscalate complex technical issues to L2/L3 support teamsMonitor system performance and ensure IT services run efficientlyDocument issues, resolutions, and support activities in ticketing systemsIn simple terms: IT Support Specialists ensure company systems, devices, and networks work smoothly so employees can operate without disruption.
