IT Support Specialist – Liberty FinancialLiberty Financial is an Australian alternative lender providing home loans, vehicle finance, business lending, and specialty credit products across Australia. The company supports customers through innovative financial solutions and strong operational and technology-driven services.We are seeking a proactive IT Support Specialist to provide first-line technical support and ensure smooth day-to-day operation of internal systems, devices, and networks. Key ResponsibilitiesProvide first-line (L1) IT support to employees and system usersTroubleshoot hardware issues including PCs, laptops, printers, and peripheralsResolve software issues such as Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and business applicationsSupport network connectivity issues including Wi-Fi, LAN, and VPN accessInstall, configure, and maintain computers, applications, and IT equipmentManage user accounts, password resets, and access permissionsSupport onboarding by setting up devices and user accounts for new employeesEscalate complex technical issues to L2/L3 support teamsMonitor system performance and ensure IT services run efficientlyDocument issues, resolutions, and support activities in ticketing systemsIn simple terms: IT Support Specialists ensure company systems, devices, and networks work smoothly so employees can operate without disruption. Skills & RequirementsPrevious IT support or helpdesk experience preferredStrong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft OfficeUnderstanding of basic networking (LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN)Experience with troubleshooting hardware and software issuesFamiliarity with IT ticketing systemsStrong communication and problem-solving skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, support-driven environmentAbility to work rotating shifts in some environments Work EnvironmentIT Support Specialists commonly work in:Banking and financial servicesCorporate office environmentsIT service desks and BPO companiesHealthcare and hospital systemsTechnology companies and startupsRemote or hybrid support environmentsThis role is often office-based or hybrid, with shift work required in global or 24/7 support environments.
