Candidates seeking sponsorship must be currently residing in Australia and have valid working rights at the time of application. Candidates currently holding a TSS 482 visa are welcome to apply as Visa transfer/sponsorship available***The OpportunityAn excellent opportunity has become available for a suitably qualified and experienced Site Services Superintendent to join our Port Hedland based team.*Please note this is a Residential Role and Relocation and Housing allowance assistance may be approved for the right candidateAbout the RoleAs the successful applicant, this challenging and exciting opportunity will see you managing various site teams, liaising with clients to ensure requirements are fully understood and ensuring job scope outputs meet or exceed safety and quality requirements.This integral position will see you take ownership and ultimate responsibility of Delivering allocated maintenance/ site services work/ projects and Shutdowns that are of high quality, consistently meeting or exceeding the targets set for quality, safety, completion, timing and cost. The Site Services Superintendent's relationship within the team is critical to the success of this position.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Ensure client’s expectations are met as a minimum, and exceeded wherever possible, through the delivery of the highest level of customer service.
  • Ensure projects are set up for success through the initiation and set up of baseline schedules, estimates and other necessary project assurance parameters as per client and company requirements.
  • Expedite and inspect work to ensure the client’s quality and timing specifications are met.
  • Maintain & enhance positive working relationships with customers to build brand loyalty & maximize opportunities to secure future business.
  • Lead, guide and develop operational staff while maintaining good employee relations that encourage productivity, motivation and positive morale.
  • Ensure compliance to Company policies and procedures and also Engaged Clients. e.g., Safety, Environmental and Quality.

To be successful for this position, you must possess the following:
  • Proven experience in a similar role in a workshop and site environment, within the mining/oil & gas industries
  • Trade or higher qualifications.
  • Thorough knowledge of engineering and production processes.
  • Knowledge and understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
  • Self-starting and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Solid leadership, motivational and people management skills
  • Ability to effectively manage changes in competing priorities.
  • Hold or willing to obtain a National Police Clearance
  • Thorough understanding of safety legislation, practices and requirements.
  • Commitment to Safety and Quality
  • Experience prioritizing tasks and organizing work to meet schedules and deadlines.
  • Effective collaborative approach, skills and methods.
  • Pragmatic problem-solving skills. 
  • Excellent customer service/ account client management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Solid leadership, motivational and people management skills.
  • Scoping and Quoting experience highly regarded.
