Product Designer - AI Healthcare

Humankind is partnering with an AI-first healthcare company that’s transforming how patients access life-saving therapies. They’ve scaled to over a million patients and thousands of providers, are backed by $50M in Series A funding, and are revenue-positive with major life sciences partnerships.

We’re looking for a second Founding Designer to help establish the design function, alongside the Head of Design, and shape the product experience across provider tools, patient-facing platforms, and analytical dashboards for life sciences partners. This is a rare opportunity to own design end-to-end and help define the future of healthcare delivery at scale.

What you’ll do.

• Lead design direction across provider, patient, and life science product surfaces.
• Rethink and refine workflows as adoption scales to thousands of users.
• Build intuitive, data-rich dashboards for clinical and life sciences partners.
• Define and implement design systems, patterns, and processes.
• Collaborate closely with leadership to balance speed, quality, and impact.

What we’re looking for.

• 3–6 years of product design experience in fast-moving environments.
• Strong end-to-end craft: research, flows, prototyping, and high-fidelity design.
• Ability to work independently as the first in-house designer.
• Excitement to bring clarity and polish to complex, high-impact problems.

Bonus points.

• Experience designing healthcare, AI, or B2B platforms.
• Comfort with data visualization and complex workflows.

Location.

SoHo, NYC (fun!)

In-person, 5 days per week (with flexibility)
