- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program (required)
- Active Massachusetts PTA license in good standing
- Experience using Net Health software preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills

Key Responsibilities Resident Care
- Carry out prescribed physical therapy treatments to help reduce pain, restore mobility, and improve functional ability.
- Provide therapeutic interventions under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist (PT).
- Assist with implementing and adjusting treatment plans according to PT guidance.
- Track and document resident progress including strength, mobility, and functional performance.
- Monitor patient responses to therapy sessions and report updates to the supervising therapist.
- Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary care team (IDT) to support positive resident outcomes.
- Offer education and guidance to residents, families, and caregivers regarding therapy goals and exercises.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility policies and regulatory guidelines.
Training & Education
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and care planning conferences.
- Assist in training and supporting Restorative Nursing staff and caregivers.
- Provide educational support for residents and families regarding therapy programs and exercises.
- Support clinical education opportunities for PTA students when applicable.
- Maintain compliance with required training, certifications, and continuing education standards.
