Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled TM1 Developer with experience in IBM Planning Analytics / TM1 to design, develop, maintain, and support enterprise performance management (EPM) solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with finance, business, and technical teams to develop budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analytics applications using TM1 technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain TM1/IBM Planning Analytics applications.
- Build and manage TM1 cubes, dimensions, rules, processes, and Turbo Integrator (TI) scripts.
- Develop Planning Analytics Workspace (PAW) dashboards, reports, and scorecards.
- Create and optimize TM1 feeders, calculations, and data models for performance improvement.
- Integrate TM1 with ERP, data warehouse, and other enterprise systems.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and reporting processes.
- Troubleshoot TM1 server, application, and performance-related issues.
- Perform data validation, testing, deployment, and production support activities.
- Work with business users to gather requirements and provide technical solutions.
- Maintain security setup including users, groups, and access controls.
- Prepare technical documentation and provide user training when required.
- Participate in system upgrades, migrations, and enhancement projects.
Required Skills
- Strong experience with IBM TM1 / IBM Planning Analytics.
- Expertise in:
- TM1 Cubes & Dimensions
- Turbo Integrator (TI)
- TM1 Rules & Feeders
- Planning Analytics Workspace (PAW)
- Planning Analytics for Excel (PAx)
- Knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Experience with financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting solutions.
- Understanding of ETL and data integration concepts.
- Good troubleshooting and performance tuning skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with IBM Cognos Analytics.
- Knowledge of Python, VBA, or scripting tools.
- Exposure to cloud-based Planning Analytics environments.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience in Finance or EPM domain.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or related field.
Experience
- 3+ years of hands-on TM1 / IBM Planning Analytics development experience.
- Experience in enterprise financial planning implementations is preferred.
Nice to Have
- IBM Planning Analytics certifications.
- Experience with DevOps and version control tools.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts.
