We are currently seeking an experienced andmotivated Cook to join our growing team. About the RoleThe Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of fresh meals andmenu items including Nepalese, South Asian and Indo-Chinese cuisine whilemaintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and kitchen efficiency. Skills & Experience Required Relevant Certificate III / IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualificationOR at least 3 years relevant work experience Experience working in a busy commercial kitchen preferred Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food preparation, and food safetypractices Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented attitude Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and public holidays About YouYou are passionate about food, organised under pressure, and take pride inproducing high-quality meals. - Prepare and cook a range of menu items including curries, noodles, rice
dishes, grilled meals, momo, thukpa and other house specialties
- Prepare ingredients, sauces, marinades, and accompaniments for daily
service
- Ensure consistent taste, portion control, presentation, and quality standards
- Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering food supplies and ingredients
- Ensure proper food storage, stock rotation, and minimisation of waste
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen and food preparation areas
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and WHS requirements
- Assist in developing new menu items, specials, and seasonal dishes
- Work efficiently during busy lunch, dinner, and weekend service periods
