Data Analytics Engineer Amsterdam. Hybrid working. Salary up to €55,000 base.
This is a rare opportunity to join a growing Data and Analytics function in a newly created, greenfield role. With a strong engineering focus, this position offers high autonomy, hands on ownership, and the chance to shape scalable data products from the ground up.

As part of a broader investment in Data and Analytics, they are expanding their internal data platforms and client facing analytics products. The environment is collaborative, intellectually curious, and focused on building long term capability rather than short term fixes.
The RoleYou will sit within the Data and Analytics team, reporting directly into senior leadership and working closely with analytics, data science, architecture, and research colleagues. The focus is on building robust, production grade data solutions that support research outputs and external client deliverables.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Building and maintaining scalable data processing pipelines using Python
  • Developing custom data visualisations, with a strong focus on Plotly and bespoke solutions
  • Creating reusable, templated reporting frameworks for analytics and research products
  • Producing high quality HTML5 and PDF outputs outside of client portals
  • Contributing to evolving platforms including AWS and an emerging Databricks environment
  • Supporting longer term development of AI and advanced analytics pipelines


Your Skills and Experience
  • Strong commercial experience as a Data Analytics Engineer or similar role
  • Advanced Python engineering skills with a focus on production quality code
  • Experience building custom data visualisations rather than relying solely on BI tools
  • Comfort designing solutions from scratch and working with ambiguous requirements
  • A structured, analytical approach and strong problem solving skills

Exposure to Databricks, AI or machine learning pipelines, or research driven analytics environments would be advantageous.
