What You'll Do
- Design and build backend systems and data models that hold up as the product and team scale
- Work directly with non-technical teammates to translate complex, real-world processes into clean technical systems
- Own backend services end-to-end, from design through deployment
- Partner cross-functionally to make sure what gets built actually solves the right problem
- Bring strong data modeling instincts to a domain where getting the structure right really matters

What They're Looking For
- 5+ years of backend engineering experience
- Strong Python and data modeling skills
- Startup or founding engineer experience strongly preferred
- Excellent communication skills, comfortable working cross-functionally with non-technical stakeholders
- A genuine interest in the mission, not just the tech stack
