Mobile Plant Operator (Final Trim) – Civil ConstructionPerth WA | Full-Time | Visa Sponsorship Available (TSS 482 / 400 Pathway)Final Trim & Finishing Works | GPS GuidanceA well-established, family-owned civil construction company operating across the South West of Western Australia is seeking an experienced Mobile Plant Operator to join their growing team.This business has built a strong reputation delivering high-quality civil infrastructure, car parks, subdivisions and commercial projects. Due to continued growth, they are looking for a skilled operator with strong final trim and finishing experience to support their expanding workload.The RoleThis position involves operating mobile plant, primarily a Posi Track / Skid Steer, to complete final trim and finishing works across a range of civil construction projects.You will be responsible for working to tight tolerances (5-7mm) and ensuring surfaces are prepared to precise levels and specifications.Key responsibilities include:

• Operating Posi Track / Skid Steer for final trim and detailed finishing work
• Preparing and trimming surfaces to final levels and specifications
• Reading and interpreting civil construction plans
• Assisting with site preparation, grading and finishing works
• Operating additional machinery where required (excavator, roller)
• Working collaboratively with supervisors and site teams
• Maintaining a safe, clean and organised worksite

About You

• Proven experience as a Mobile Plant Operator within civil construction
• Minimum 1-2 years of mobile plant operator experience within civil construction is required, although candidates with 5-10 years are preferred.
• Strong background in final trim and finishing works
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience with final trim and finishing works is required
• Ability to achieve high-precision tolerances (5-7mm)
• Experience working on car parks, subdivisions or commercial construction sites (highly regarded)
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans

Understanding of levels, grading and site preparationExperience with or exposure to GPS machine guidance systemsSome hands-on experience with GPS machine guidance systems is requiredReliable, safety-focused and able to work both independently and within a teamEssential Requirements:

• 2 experience minimum, preferably 5-10 years experience
• White Card (or willingness to obtain)
• Current Driver's Licence
• Relevant plant/machinery tickets (or willingness to obtain in Australia)
