Panel Beater

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Panel Beater to join our skilled and friendly team at iRG Hereford. We are looking for a professional who is confident with all sizes of repair work. Ideal candidates will have welding certificates, and experience in bonding, riveting, and carrying out both bodywork and some mechanical and electrical strip and fit work.Please Note: iRG Hereford holds a Skilled Worker sponsorship licence. We can sponsor candidates already residing in the UK who are looking to move employers. We also offer a relocation fund for those moving within the UK. Job Role – Skilled Panel BeaterYou will be responsible for completing high-quality panel repairs on accident-damaged vehicles. ATA, NVQ Level 3, or IMI Level 3 qualifications would be a distinct advantage. Key Responsibilities:

• Repair or replace bodywork panels, including chassis and framework
• Strip and fit vehicle panels and bodywork
• Efficiently repair vehicles, ensuring a flawless finish
• Carry out filler work, panel straightening, quarter panel replacements, and rebuilds
• Perform welding and bonding of vehicle structures
• Follow manufacturer literature and technical bulletins
• Operate equipment safely, including jigs, fixtures, and welding tools
• Ensure all repairs meet Kitemark BS10125 and manufacturer standards

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Panel Beater in a professional bodyshop
• Solid knowledge of all aspects of vehicle panel repair
• Relevant qualifications (IMI Level 3, NVQ 3 or ATA accreditation – desirable but not essential)
• Ability to work to high standards under pressure
