The Opportunity Join a high-performing Orthopaedic Department providing comprehensive surgical services across a large regional catchment.

As a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, You Will

  • Deliver specialist elective and emergency orthopaedic services
  • Manage acute trauma and fracture presentations
  • Participate in consultant on-call and trauma rosters
  • Perform a broad range of orthopaedic procedures
  • Work closely with Emergency Medicine, ICU, Anaesthetics, and Rehabilitation services
  • Contribute to clinical governance, quality improvement, and service development
  • Support and mentor junior medical staff and trainees

Requirements Applicants Should Possess

  • Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in Orthopaedic Surgery, or equivalent specialist qualification

  • Demonstrated expertise in elective and trauma orthopaedic surgery
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Commitment to multidisciplinary, patient-centred care
