Bakery Assistant

Food Trades Assistant – Bakery – Wanaka We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable team member to join our Bakery department and be part of a fast-paced and exciting world of baking. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about food, enjoys working with their hands, and wants to grow their skills in a bakery environment. The ideal candidate will have: * A genuine interest in baking and food preparation  * A positive attitude and willingness to learn  * The ability to work night shifts (5 days per week, 12:00 am – 9:00 am)  * A good level of English for communication and safety purposes  * The ability to handle physical work, including lifting up to 20 kg (flour sacks and bakery ingredients)  Key responsibilities include: * Preparing and baking products following recipes and baker instructions  * Packing, labelling, and presenting fresh bakery products for sale  * Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene, and quality  * Providing excellent customer service and supporting the wider team when needed  Apply now: Applicants must be New Zealand citizens, residents, or hold a valid New Zealand open work visa.
