CANOPY MAINTENANCE WORKER

Looking for a Canopy Maintenance workers x 4 for a company in Tauranga -Bay of Plenty RegionFull time position , minimum 30 hours per weekWe are seeking a Canopy Maintenance worker to carry out installation, maintenance, and repair of orchard fencing and canopy support structures at commercial orchard sites.Must have minimum 2 years work experience or a relevant qualificationDrivers licence would be an advantage Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Key Duties and Responsibilities
• Construct, install, maintain, and repair fencing systems within orchard environments.
• Install wooden and steel posts, strainers, stays, and end assemblies.
• Measure, cut, tension, and secure wire, mesh, and netting using appropriate tools.
• Install and maintain orchard support structures including trellis and canopy support systems.
• Prepare ground for fencing installation, including digging post holes and setting posts in concrete.
• Repair and replace damaged fencing, posts, and support structures.
• Operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and basic machinery relevant to fencing work.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with orchard layout plans and specifications.
• Maintain a clean and safe worksite at all times.
• Identify and report structural faults, hazards, or equipment issues to supervisors.
• Comply with all health and safety regulations and workplace procedures.
• Assist with general orchard infrastructure maintenance where required (non-specialist tasks only).
• Work efficiently as part of a team to meet productivity targets.
