Utility Arborist Full Time

DCTREES LIMITED is a New Zealand arborist and tree services company based in Whangārei, providing tree removal, pruning, maintenance, and land care services for residential and commercial clients.A Utility Arborist specializes in maintaining trees and vegetation around power lines and electrical infrastructure. The goal is to keep the electricity network safe and reliable while preventing outages caused by tree growth. Typical Job DutiesPrune or remove trees near power lines.Inspect vegetation and identify hazards to electrical assets.Operate chainsaws, wood chippers, elevated work platforms (EWPs), and other equipment.Work at heights using climbing gear or bucket trucks.Follow strict electrical safety procedures around live conductors.Communicate with property owners, line crews, and network operators.Maintain records of vegetation management work. Common RequirementsNZQA Utility Arborist qualification (Level 2-4, depending on the role).Full New Zealand driver's licence (Class 2 often preferred).Chainsaw and vegetation-management experience.Good physical fitness and willingness to work outdoors.Strong focus on health and safety.Pay: From $4,300.00 per monthBenefits:
