Construction Project Manager

Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Construction Project Manager to oversee and coordinate construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent time management abilities, and a solid understanding of construction processes. This role offers the opportunity to lead diverse projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. Candidates with proficiency in Primavera P6 and Civil 3D will be preferred. Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all phases of construction projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closing.
• Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6, ensuring realistic timelines and resource allocations.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, contractors, and suppliers to facilitate smooth project progression.
• Monitor project progress against milestones and budgets; implement corrective actions as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across all stages of construction.
• Utilise Civil 3D for design review and site planning activities.
• Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
• Oversee procurement processes and ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
• Lead project meetings, communicate effectively with all stakeholders, and resolve issues promptly.
• Prioritise tasks efficiently through excellent time management skills to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager or similar role within the construction industry.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 for project scheduling and management.
• Experience with Civil 3D for civil design and site planning is highly desirable.
• Strong organisational skills with excellent time management capabilities.
• Demonstrated leadership ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams effectively.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to construction sites.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A recognised qualification in Construction Management or Civil Engineering is preferred but not essential.
