We need you totake us to the next level, or 3.Daily Grind Café is a high-volume food and beverage outlet, with afocus on quality, yet affordable cuisine. To put it in perspective thecafé serves around 80kg-90kg of coffee a week and services thousands ofcustomers every week. We care about what we serve, how we serveit and a dedicated to ensuring our customers love what we do everytime.Candidates will have experience in quality, high volume, restaurantsor cafes. We require energetic, happy people, people who actuallycare about and for people and understand the difference you canmake every day.On top of this we require our leaders to both help shape outprocesses, but also follow them and hold other to account. Key ResponsibilitiesSupervision, training and coordination of food and beverageemployeesHolding keys for the security of bar areasEntry/supervision of entries in accounting records required to be keptand maintained under the relevant ActPreparing espressoPreparing teasPreparing complex beveragesCleaning bar areas, glasses and equipmentPicking up glasses and taking drink ordersTaking reservations, greeting and seating guestsUsing the EFTPOS machineMaintain stock controlSome waitering and management duties, including taking payments,seating guests, taking orders, recommending food and beverages &management of lower level staffPreparing extensive list of preparation items for the bar area.Practising proper workplace health and safety proceduresOther incidental and peripheral duties as requested by the employer REQUIRED EXPERIENCEMust have at least 2 years prior experience in a similar high levelbarista role.We want a high-performance culture.
