Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and creative Kitchen Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing functional and aesthetically pleasing kitchen layouts that meet client specifications and preferences. This role involves collaborating closely with clients to understand their needs, presenting innovative solutions, and utilising various design tools to bring concepts to life. The Kitchen Designer will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring the highest standards of design quality. Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to assess their kitchen requirements, preferences, and budget constraints.
• Create detailed kitchen designs using software such as SketchUp and CAD, ensuring accurate representations of proposed layouts.
• Present design concepts to clients, explaining features and benefits clearly, and upselling additional products or services where appropriate.
• Collaborate with suppliers and contractors to ensure the seamless execution of designs.
• Organise project timelines and coordinate with other team members to meet deadlines efficiently.
• Maintain organised records of client interactions, design revisions, and project specifications.
• Stay updated on current trends in kitchen design, merchandising techniques, and new product offerings.
• Communicate effectively in English and Spanish with diverse clients to ensure clarity and satisfaction.

Skills

• Proficiency in SketchUp and CAD software for creating detailed kitchen plans.
• Strong communication skills in both English and Spanish, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience in upselling products or services to maximise customer satisfaction and sales opportunities.
• Basic maths skills for measurements, calculations, and budgeting purposes.
• Knowledge of merchandising principles to enhance visual presentation of products.
• Multilingual abilities are considered an advantage for engaging a broader client base.
