Vehicle Body, Coach Builder and Accessory Fitter Disability Car Diversion

Gilani Engineering Australia, international company is looking for a keen and enthusiastic individual from overseas to join us as vehicle accessory fitter/coach builder within our Specialised Vehicle Manufacturing & Fitting Divisions. Gilani Engineering has rapidly grown into one of the leading wheelchair accessible vehicle manufacturers in Australia. With the recent opening of our 2500sqm2 Manufacturing Facility in Wetherill Park, NSW, we are expanding rapidly and looking for an individual to grow with our organisation. What will you be doing?

• Installing aftermarket vehicle accessories such as boot hoists, wheelchair lift devices, wheelchair restraint systems, etc.
• Laying automotive grade carpet, installing/removing internal fixtures such as headlining and plastic trims
• Fabricating custom-made brackets for vehicles

Your Experience:

• Experience in wheelchair accessible vehicle or mobility device modification industry is essential
• Experience fabricating customized brackets for fittings
• Experience in specialised vehicle manufacturing (fire trucks, motorhomes, trade fit-out vans)
• Experience in van conversions or coach building
• Experience with Kia lowered floor conversion for wheelchair users

• Motor Vehicle Mechanic: 4 years (Required)
