Technical Field Advisor - Horticulture

Horticentre Group is a New Zealand grower-owned horticultural supply and technical services company that provides crop nutrition, protection products, and agronomic support to commercial growers across the country.Technical Field Advisor - Horticulture works directly with commercial growers, helping them improve crop production through technical advice, product recommendations, and relationship management. The role combines horticultural expertise with field sales and customer support. Job ResponsibilitiesVisit orchards, vineyards, and vegetable farms regularly.Provide technical advice on crop nutrition, fertilizers, pest and disease management.Recommend horticultural products and solutions suited to growers' needs.Monitor crop health and production issues.Build and maintain long-term relationships with growers.Prepare technical reports and crop recommendations.Support sales growth by identifying opportunities for products and services.Work closely with other technical advisors and horticulture specialists. Requirements:Diploma or degree in horticulture, agriculture, plant science, or a related field.Experience with horticultural crops (fruit, vegetables, viticulture, or outdoor crops).Strong communication and relationship-building skills.Ability to work independently and travel to farms and growing operations.Knowledge of crop protection products, fertilizers, and plant nutrition.Pay: From $6,700.00 per monthBenefits:
