Job description: Job Summary:Located 10km north of Saskatoon, Northern Farm Foods Ltd is a producer owned Non-GMO Canola Processing Facility. We are currently seeking an individual with a power engineering steam ticket to join our operations team as a process steam operator. Responsibilities:

- Responsible for the safe and efficient operations of the high-pressure boiler, water treatment system and plant utilities
- Assist in the smooth operation of running the crush and refinery processes, taking part in maintaining an accurate shift log
- Conducting checks throughout the process, testing samples in the quality control laboratory, enter data and operates the HMI in the plant
Must possess troubleshooting skills and strive for continuous improvement of process
- Various manual activities including maintenance, cleaning, and general labor
- Assist shipping/receiving - seed, meal, oil and misc.
- Actively participates in job-related training, shift/team activities
- Required to work 12-hr day/night shift rotation
Skills and Qualifications:
- Possession of a 3rd or 4th Class Power Engineering Certificate
- Good health and ability to work in physically challenging environment
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, time management skills, multi-tasking, prioritizing work, and exercising initiative to ensure an efficient and quality level of service
- Good computer skills (MS office, email), comfortable with learning new computer programs
- Ability to work in various working conditions (Hot, Cold, Dusty, Wet. Etc.)
- Forklift operation, grain handling augers, scissor lift, and skid steer
