Senior Design Engineer(Hybrid - 3 days onsite) £55,000 - £75,000 + Benefits Travel: China (1 week per quarter)

You’ll own engineering from concept through to production.
What You’ll Be Doing

• Own mechanical design of key subsystems
• Take products from concept design manufacturing
• Produce 3D CAD models, drawings & calculations
• Improve manufacturability, cost, and performance
• Work closely with international suppliers (incl. China)
• Solve real-world engineering problems on hardware
• Support and mentor junior engineers

What We’re Looking For

• Degree in Mechanical / Structural / Marine Engineering
• 5-10 years experience in mechanical design
• Strong 3D CAD skills (NX, Inventor or similar)
• Experience with fabrication / welding / large structures
• Strong understanding of DFMA (Design for Manufacture & Assembly)
• Proven track record delivering designs into production

Bonus Points

• Marine / offshore / wind industry experience
• Knowledge of DNV / LR certification
• Experience with structural testing
• Mandarin language skills
