P/T Care Support Worker

Healing Touch Care is looking for Part Time Care Support Workers to work in various locations within Andover and Whitchurch, Hampshire, and also neighbouring areas. Work involves care visits to clients in their own homes. For suitable candidates, we can also offer work during the week to increase hours.Mandatory Training provided, plus support for additional training; free uniforms and DBS, Employee Assistance Programme available.Tasks may include:

• Assisting service users in the morning including washing/bathing, dressing/undressing, maintaining their personal hygiene.
• Helping with preparation of meals, snacks and drinks as required.
• Continence support.
• Supporting daily activities that the service user cannot manage alone and providing general care and support as part of a team.
• Assisting with the management and administration of medication.
• Helping service users mobilising using their aids and equipment.
• Helping prepare for bed in the evening.

To be a successful Care Support Worker you will have the following skills and experience:

• A full UK driving license and vehicle (preferred, but not essential).
• Enjoy working with people.
• Kind, caring and compassionate nature.
• Prior experience and relevant qualifications are beneficial but not essential. Full training is provided.

Pay: £12.82-£21.00 per hourExpected hours: 1.0 – 37.5 per weekBenefits:
