Member of Commercial Staff

About The Role

An early-stage B2B SaaS company in the energy tech / cleantech space is looking for a proactive Member of Commercial Staff to help grow and support their customer base. You'll work closely with the commercial team to build lasting customer relationships, develop deep product and market understanding, and own the full customer lifecycle — from onboarding through to ongoing satisfaction and long-term value creation.

This is a hands-on, high-ownership role well-suited to someone who is passionate about energy markets, storage technology, and the evolving regulatory landscape shaping the industry.

What You'll Do

• Build and manage relationships with new and existing commercial and industrial customers
• Develop deep understanding of the product, the market, and customer needs to deliver meaningful insights
• Own and continuously optimize the customer lifecycle — from initial onboarding through to maximum satisfaction and retention
• Collaborate with internal teams to translate customer feedback into product and process improvements
• Stay current on energy market developments, regulatory changes, and battery storage trends

What We're Looking For

• Required: 2+ years of experience in a business, commercial, or customer-facing role
• Required: Professional proficiency in German (hard requirement)
• Strong communication and relationship-management skills
• Ability to develop product, market, and customer insights independently
• Genuine enthusiasm for energy markets, new regulatory developments, and their complexities
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, early-stage environment where you help shape processes rather than just follow them

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $70,000 – $100,000 USD annually
• Visa sponsorship available

Location

This is an on-site role based in Munich, Germany. Candidates must be able to work from the Munich office.
