Position Overview:We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented ICT Business Development Manager to drive the growth and expansion of our dealer network. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and developing innovative strategies to drive revenue growth in collaboration with NZ's largest Telco provider.Working 40 hours per week, this role requires proactive and savvy with developing and implementing sales strategies.A proven history in hunting for NEW BUSINESS ACQUISITION and can create valuable relationships with customers.This role is specifically responsible for (but not limited to):· Gaining new business or identifying new ICT business opportunities through market research, networking, and lead generation.· Achieve and exceed the minimum requirements of the role including all targets andKPIs· Articulating and negotiating value propositions and differentiate against competitiveOfferings· Negotiating and closing sales in a timely manner· Building an ICT pipeline and create goals for sales development· Use CRM to capture account attributes, pipeline and recording and all quotation management.· Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to promote ICT products and service awareness and generate leads. Skills & Experience: · Experienced in sales - BDM, account management or a similar role is essential· Strategic Planning: Ability to develop and execute strategic plans to drive business growth.· Sales and Negotiation: Proficiency in sales techniques and negotiation to secure deals and partnerships.· Relationship Building: Capacity to establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.· Market Analysis: Skill in analyzing market trends, competition, and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth.· Communication: Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey ideas, proposals, and negotiations clearly.· Leadership: Capability to lead and motivate teams to achieve business objectives.· Problem-Solving: Aptitude for identifying challenges and devising creative solutions to overcome them.· Financial Acumen: Understanding of financial principles and metrics to assess the viability of business opportunities.· Networking: Ability to expand professional networks and leverage connections to generate leads and opportunities.· Adaptability: Capacity to adapt to changing market conditions, customer preferences, and business requirements.This job description outlines the primary skills & responsibilities for the Business Development Manager role.
