- Provide a warm, professional, and friendly welcome to all guests.
- Recognize IHG One Rewards members and returning guests both in person and over the phone.
- Process guest reservations, check-ins, and check-outs efficiently and accurately.
- Promote hotel amenities and identify opportunities to upsell guest experiences.
- Handle cash, credit card, and room charge transactions.
- Assist guests with inquiries, requests, concerns, and billing issues.
- Provide local area information and recommendations.
- Record guest preferences and communicate important information to relevant departments.
- Respond to guest concerns professionally and escalate issues to management when required.
- Maintain knowledge of daily hotel activities, events, and operational updates.
- Follow all hotel safety, security, and emergency procedures.
- Maintain a professional appearance and represent the hotel brand positively at all times.
- Support other departments and assist with additional duties as needed.
What We Need From You
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a positive attitude.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Comfortable working with computers, reservation systems, and basic office software.
- Ability to handle cash and credit card transactions accurately.
- Flexibility to work a rotating schedule that includes days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous hotel front desk, customer service, or hospitality experience is preferred.
- Additional language skills are considered an asset.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to bend, kneel, reach, and perform repetitive movements as required.
- Ability to occasionally lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs (23 kg).
