Important Information Before Applying:This is a full-time position that requires a flexible schedule. Successful candidates must be available to work a combination of:
  • Day shifts: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
  • Evening shifts: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
  • Weekends
  • Holidays

Please note: This position is eligible for the Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP). However, it is not eligible for LMIA support. Guest Services Agent - What's the Job?The moment a guest steps into our hotel, they walk into a genuinely memorable experience. As a Guest Services Agent, you are often the first and last person our guests interact with, playing a key role in creating an exceptional stay.You will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service, handling guest requests, and ensuring smooth front desk operations while creating a welcoming atmosphere that makes every guest feel at home. Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a warm, professional, and friendly welcome to all guests.
  • Recognize IHG One Rewards members and returning guests both in person and over the phone.
  • Process guest reservations, check-ins, and check-outs efficiently and accurately.
  • Promote hotel amenities and identify opportunities to upsell guest experiences.
  • Handle cash, credit card, and room charge transactions.
  • Assist guests with inquiries, requests, concerns, and billing issues.
  • Provide local area information and recommendations.
  • Record guest preferences and communicate important information to relevant departments.
  • Respond to guest concerns professionally and escalate issues to management when required.
  • Maintain knowledge of daily hotel activities, events, and operational updates.
  • Follow all hotel safety, security, and emergency procedures.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and represent the hotel brand positively at all times.
  • Support other departments and assist with additional duties as needed.

What We Need From You
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable working with computers, reservation systems, and basic office software.
  • Ability to handle cash and credit card transactions accurately.
  • Flexibility to work a rotating schedule that includes days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous hotel front desk, customer service, or hospitality experience is preferred.
  • Additional language skills are considered an asset.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to bend, kneel, reach, and perform repetitive movements as required.
  • Ability to occasionally lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs (23 kg).
