Semi Skilled Labourer

Job SummaryWe are seeking a motivated Semi Skilled Labourer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will possess a range of practical skills and be eager to develop further expertise within the industry. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience across various trades, contributing to diverse projects including carpentry, roofing, and general construction work. The successful applicant will work under supervision but is expected to demonstrate initiative and a strong work ethic. We can provide flexible working hours, due to certain projects or contracts can be weather dependant. Duties

• Assist with carpentry, roofing, and masonry tasks as directed by senior tradespeople
• Support construction painting, plumbing, and electrical installations
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
• Contribute to fabrication tasks on-site, including cutting, shaping, and assembling materials
• Prepare work areas by cleaning and organising tools and materials
• Follow health and safety procedures diligently to ensure a safe working environment
• Assist with loading and unloading materials from vehicles such as lorries or vans
• Support the team in maintaining project timelines and quality standards

Experience

• Full UK driving Licence preferred
• Previous experience in construction-related roles is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for specific tasks
• Knowledge of basic hand tools and power tools is desirable
• Familiarity with trades such as carpentry, roofing, or masonry will be considered an asset
• Experience with plumbing or electrical work is a plus but not mandatory
• Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different trades on-site
