As we continue to expand, we are seeking a passionate and dedicated Community Occupational Therapist to join our team. About the RoleThis is a dynamic community-based role offering a diverse caseload across NDIS, Support at Home (SAH), and private clients. You will work across home, community, and school environments, supporting both paediatric and adult participants. Key ResponsibilitiesAssessment & Intervention
- Conduct comprehensive functional assessments (including FCAs and standardised assessments)
- Complete assistive technology (AT) assessments and provide appropriate recommendations
- Develop and implement evidence-based intervention plans
Client-Centred Support
- Deliver tailored therapy aligned with client goals, abilities, and environments
- Support clients to improve independence, participation, and overall quality of life
Home Modifications
- Conduct minor and major home modification assessments
- Recommend solutions to enhance safety and accessibility
Collaboration & Reporting
- Work collaboratively with families, caregivers, support coordinators, and multidisciplinary teams
- Prepare high-quality reports, funding applications, and progress updates
Paediatric Therapy
- Provide early intervention services for children under 9
- Support children and young people aged 9–18 years
About You
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current or eligible registration with AHPRA (Limited or General)
- Experience in community-based practice and understanding of NDIS and SAH frameworks
- Experience in assistive technology prescription (desirable)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent time management and organisational abilities
- Current driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle
- Valid (or willingness to obtain):
- Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- National Police Check
