Motor Mechanic

We are currently looking for an experienced and qualified Motor Mechanic to join the team ona full-time basis. This role wouldsuit a fully qualified mechanic with a high mechanical aptitude and genuine interest inpursuing a long-term career in the industry.As a motor mechanic, your responsibilities will include: Inspect vehicle engines, transmissions, and components Identify and diagnose mechanical and electrical faults Remove faulty parts and component. Carry out repair action required to manufacturer’s specifications and relevantstandards Replace defective parts and assemble mechanical components; Reassemble engines and parts after being repaired. Conduct routine maintenance work such as replacing fluids, oils and lubricating parts Test and adjust mechanical parts after being repaired for proper performance. Supervise and assist junior mechanics in their continual learning and development. Conduct roadworthy inspections. Perform a variety of duties including tyre fitting, wheel alignments, air con repairs Liaise with vehicle owners to explain problems/issuesTo be considered for this role, you must: Have trade qualifications as a Motor Mechanic Minimum 1 year working experience in the automotive industry Solid understanding of modern vehicle repair technology Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills High attention to details Ability to work efficiently, both independently and as part of a team Be hardworking, disciplined, reliable and flexible Demonstrate excellent communication skills and time management abilities Willingness to lean and adapt to new technologies (including EV) Current driver’s licenceWhat can we offer for you –We offer a $77,000 to $85,000 annual salary package plus superannuation to the successfulapplicant.*You must have relevant qualifications & experience to be considered for this position.We will only be contacting those who match the criteria.APPLY NOW by sending a copy of your resume, cover letter addressing the selection criteriaand qualifications to info@continentalmordialloc.com.au.
