You will be expected to eliminate recurring issues, improve systems, and drive measurable results, not just respond to breakdowns. Key Responsibilities
- Take full technical ownership of assigned production lines
- Maximise line uptime and performance through proactive engineering
- Diagnose and eliminate recurring faults using root cause analysis
- Work with PLCs and control systems to optimise machine performance
- Drive continuous improvement projects focused on efficiency, waste reduction, and reliability
- Support production teams in maintaining standards and resolving real-time issues
- Ensure all equipment operates to required food safety and operational standards
- Maintain clear documentation of faults, fixes, and improvements
- Work closely with production and management to deliver output targets
- Lead by example in standards, urgency, and accountability

Requirements Essential:
- Experience working with industrial electrical systems and machinery
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Experience with PLCs and automation systems
- Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement lasting solutions
- Good level of English (written and verbal)
Desirable:
- Experience in food manufacturing or FMCG environment
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
- Electrical qualification (e.g. HNC/HND, NVQ, or equivalent)
