About the Sequel The Sequel - Restaurant and Kitchen we are in the vibrant neighborhood of Coal Harbour Downtown. As the sister restaurant to the highly successful The Story Cafe in Richmond, The Sequel brings the same commitment to high-quality food and exceptional service in a fast-paced, casual fine dining atmosphere. We are seeking an experienced, motivated individual with a passion for hospitality and a collaborative spirit to join our team. POSITION: Looking for skilled cooks to work mornings, mids & closing, Must be able to work Saturday and Sunday. Shifts varies from 8 hours to 10 hours daily. SCHEDULE:
Full-Time Shifts Shifts are approximately 8 hours+/day JOB DUTIES: · Ensure the preparation station and the kitchen is set up and stocked. · Prepare simple components of each dish on the menu by chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and preparing sauces. · Report to the executive chef and follow instructions. · Make sure food preparation and storage areas meet health and safety standards. · Clean prep areas and take care of leftovers. · Stock inventory and supplies. · Cook menu items with the support of the kitchen staff. REQUIREMENT: · At least 2 year cooking experience, fine dine experience is an asset · Able to work in a busy, fast paced environment · English language skill level: fluent or intermediate level · Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident preferred, if work permit - must be able to work more than 6 months BENEFITS: · Staff meal provided for each shift · Staff discount · Only a few minutes walk from Waterfront Station · Closed on some holidays (Christmas, New Year) · CovidSafe certified workplace · Safe, positive environment · Friendly, multicultural team of staff · *Full extended group benefits* Options HOW TO APPLY:
