We are recruiting experienced Coachbuilders / Vehicle Body Builders to join a leading bus manufacturer in Melbourne.We are working with a well-established Australian bus and coach manufacturer with over 30 years of operation, supplying vehicles nationwide.This is a great opportunity to move into a modern production environment, working on brand new bus and coach builds, not just repairs, alongside a skilled and supportive team. If you are currently in the UK working long hours for limited progression, this is a great step up both financially and lifestyle-wise. The RoleYou will be working within a production team building and assembling buses and coaches to a high standard.Key responsibilities:

• Body building and assembly of bus and coach structures
• Installation of panels, interiors, windows and fittings
• Working with aluminium, steel and composite materials
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings
• Using hand and power tools to complete builds
• Ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards

What we are looking for

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Coachbuilding / Vehicle Body Building
• Experience in bus, coach, trailer or commercial vehicle builds
• Ability to read and work from technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
• Willingness to relocate to Australia
• Eligible for 482 visa sponsorship

Highly regarded

• Bus or coach manufacturing experience
• MIG / TIG welding or fabrication experience
• Interior fit out or finishing experience
