Work Location: In person
- Accurately label and dispense prescriptions under the supervision of a pharmacist
- Assist with the preparation of dosette boxes / monitored dosage systems (MDS)
- Manage stock control, including ordering, checking deliveries, and date rotation
- Serve patients at the counter and provide advice on over-the-counter medicines (where appropriate)
- Support with administrative tasks and prescription processing
- Maintain a clean, organised, and compliant dispensary
- Work collaboratively with the pharmacy team to ensure smooth daily operations
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a pharmacy setting (essential)
- NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services (or working towards) preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Good organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload
