As a Sandwich Maker, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality food to our customers while providing excellent service. Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to established recipes and customer preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
• Assist in food preparation tasks as needed, including chopping vegetables and preparing sauces.
• Engage with customers to take orders and provide recommendations, employing upselling techniques where appropriate.
• Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Conduct regular checks on stock levels and assist with inventory management.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive and efficient working environment.

Experience

• Previous experience in food preparation or a culinary role is preferred but not essential.
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment and cooking techniques is advantageous.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy setting.
• Knowledge of food safety practices is essential to ensure high standards of hygiene are maintained.
• Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing inventory effectively.
