About the role We are seeking a Junior Accountant who is eager to train in managing a portfolio of French companies operating in the U.S. across various sectors and learn about U.S. tax, social, and legal regulations.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe following tasks for a portfolio of around 20 clients:• Bookkeeping and accounting review.• Preparing monthly/quarterly reports.• Closing quarterly and annual accounts and preparing financial statements.• Preparing tax declarations.• Client support and advisory.• Solving international tax issues
Basic Qualifications• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration, or recently graduated or currently pursuing a master's degree in accounting.• Minimum of two years of experience in an accounting firm in France or in the U.S.• Detail-oriented, organized, and strong communication skills.• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.• Proficiency in French is considered a plus for this role.• Essential qualities: rigor, adaptability, discretion, dedication, and sense of responsibility.
