We are looking for a Senior Analog IC Design Engineer with power conversion experience to join our hugely successful Semiconductor client based in Edinburgh, UK. Visas sponsored.

It’s an exciting time to join our client as they are undergoing a huge expansion drive, penetrating new markets in the automotive and industrial sectors. The successful Analog IC Design Engineer will develop high-performance mixed-signal ICs including advanced power converters using state-of-the-art CMOS processes, taking designs from initial specification through concept, architecture, and integration. The Senior Analog IC Design Engineer will also oversee layout implementation, and support post-silicon activities.

The Successful Analog IC Design Engineer Will Bring

• A BSc / MSc degree in electronic or electrical engineering (or similar)
• Established industrial experience within analog IC design, with a deep understanding of architecture considerations, design implementation, and chip integration
• A strong background in power management; PMIC / power conversion / switch mode power supply / buck-boost
• Excellent communication skills, and a great teamwork ethic
