Our client is a seed-stage AI engineering firm, founded in 2025 by operators out of Meta and AWS, with a team led by a former COO of Citadel Securities. They build production-grade AI agents for enterprises from $10M to $1B in scale, embedding with each customer to map how the business actually runs, then shipping the agents, integrations, and workflows that take AI from prototype to dependable production. They came out of stealth in January and are already fielding heavy client demand. Their bet: the hard part of enterprise AI is not the model, it is deployment, reliability, and trust.
The role
You will lead client engagements end-to-end, forward-deployed with billion-dollar clients, sitting across from the C-suite and commanding a team of consultants and engineers on the ground. This is a ground-floor seat with direct founder access at a company scaling aggressively off real demand.

The role
You will lead client engagements end-to-end, forward-deployed with billion-dollar clients, sitting across from the C-suite and commanding a team of consultants and engineers on the ground. This is a ground-floor seat with direct founder access at a company scaling aggressively off real demand.
What you'll do
- Own client accounts end-to-end, from engaging C-suite stakeholders to interviewing middle management and ICs on their workflows, all the way through to successful delivery
- Lead a team of two or more junior consultants and strategists on each engagement, owning their day-to-day work and the quality of what ships
- Ramp fast on existing project context, read client sentiment, and surface pain points across concurrent engagements spanning finance, sales, marketing, and operations
- Scope new AI agent implementations, translating ambiguous business problems into clear engagement plans with defined outcomes and ROI targets
- Run the executive cadence and reframe problems in the room so clients feel they are in the best possible hands
- Travel 10 to 20 percent of the time to client sites
What we're looking for
- 4 or more years in management consulting at a top-tier firm (MBB or equivalent), having owned full client engagements at Engagement Manager level and up
- Polished executive presence that earns C-suite confidence immediately
- Extremely strong analytical ability, with the judgment to scope AI implementations and discuss them credibly with engineers
- A degree from a top-tier university
- Real appetite for a high-intensity, seed-stage environment with minimal oversight
- Able to work on-site in San Francisco and comfortable with 10 to 20 percent client travel
Bonus points
- Founder or early-operator experience at a startup
- A working understanding of AI agents and how they get deployed in production
- Experience navigating large enterprise clients and the politics inside them
Compensation and benefits
- Base salary of $200K to $320K, flexible within the range based on experience
- Meaningful equity, 0.05 to 0.3 percent
- Simple visa sponsorship available (for example, TN-1), including visa transfers. Complex processes such as H-1B are not sponsored.
