The advisor works directly with commercial vegetable growers to improve crop performance and recommend suitable products and solutions. Typical responsibilities include:Visiting growers and assessing crop health and production challenges.Providing technical advice on outdoor vegetable crops.Recommending crop protection products, fertilizers, and horticultural solutions.Building and maintaining long-term relationships with growers.Supporting sales growth through technical expertise and customer service.Monitoring crop performance and identifying opportunities for improvement.Working with other technical field specialists across the region.Keeping up to date with new horticultural technologies and industry developments.Skills and Qualifications Employers typically look for:Experience with outdoor vegetable crops or commercial horticulture.Strong horticultural knowledge and practical growing experience.Sales and relationship-management skills.Good communication and problem-solving abilities.Ability to work independently in the field.A tertiary qualification in horticulture, agriculture, or a related field is advantageous but not always required.Pay: From $8,300.00 per monthBenefits:
