- Deliver sermons, teachings, and spiritual counselling to individuals and groups within the community.
- Provide pastoral care and emotional support to those facing personal or health-related challenges, including hospice care.
- Lead community outreach programmes aimed at supporting vulnerable populations, including children and the elderly.
- Organise and participate in fundraising activities to support community projects and charitable initiatives.
- Mentor individuals seeking spiritual development or guidance, fostering personal growth and resilience.
- Collaborate with local organisations, charities, and faith groups to promote social welfare and community cohesion.
- Offer training sessions or workshops on topics such as leadership, mentoring, and faith-based education.
Skills
- Strong teaching abilities with the capacity to communicate complex spiritual concepts clearly.
- Proven leadership skills with experience in organising programmes or guiding teams.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Experience working with children and vulnerable groups with sensitivity and care.
- Ability to mentor individuals through personal or spiritual challenges effectively.
- Knowledge of hospice care principles is desirable for providing specialised pastoral support.
- Competence in organising fundraising events and engaging community members for charitable causes.
