Recognizing that top-tier talent delivers their best work when given autonomy, we champion true flexibility. This position is open to Full-Time, Part-Time, or Independent Contractor arrangements, with highly negotiable remuneration packages and custom work structures tailored to your personal and professional needs. In this dual-focus leadership and advanced practitioner role, you will lead the way in person-centred, evidence-informed practices. You will manage a diverse, rewarding caseload spanning children, youth, and adults, while serving as a senior clinical anchor. Your week will feature a seamless hybrid model, allowing you to balance clinical environment touches, collaborative community-based fieldwork, and extensive work-from-home (WFH) days. You control your diary. Key Responsibilities:
  • Clinical Excellence: Oversee the end-to-end design, delivery, and evaluation of comprehensive Positive Behaviour Support Plans tailored to complex NDIS goals.
  • Advanced Diagnostics: Conduct sophisticated Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBAs) and construct proactive, evidence-based intervention methodologies.
  • Safeguarding & Restrictive Practice Reduction: Champion human rights and dignity by guiding families, support structures, and team members through the ethical reduction and elimination of restrictive practices in strict alignment with NDIS Commission standards.
  • Practice Leadership & Mentorship: Provide high-level clinical guidance, plan reviews, and skill-building training to support networks, families, and junior practitioners.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with our internal, vibrant multi-disciplinary network (including Speech Pathologists, OTs, and Psychologists) to deliver seamless, holistic care.

About You
  • NDIS Registered: Currently credentialed as an NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner at a Proficient, Advanced, or Specialist level (Minimum Proficient registration is essential).
  • Proven Expertise: Demonstrated background in leading complex Functional Behaviour Assessments and constructing high-quality Behaviour Support Plans.
  • Framework Knowledge: Deep comprehension of the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission regulations and the PBS Capability Framework.
  • Autonomy & Leadership: Self-driven individuals who excel in a flexible, hybrid ecosystem and are passionate about mentoring others and transforming lives.
  • Logistics: Valid Australian Driver’s Licence and reliable transport.

Why Join the Allied Health Talent Team?
  • True Hybrid Flexibility: Design a schedule that works for you. Take advantage of autonomous diary management with a balanced mix of clinic, community, and remote work-from-home days.
  • Tailored Financial Packages: Competitive, negotiable base salaries or highly attractive contract/hourly rates that reflect your advanced training and expertise.
  • Elite Tech Provision: Fully equipped for a flawless remote setup with top-tier hardware, including Surface Laptops, iPads, iPhones, and dual 30” monitors for your home office.
  • Work-Life Balance Culture: Choose your ideal capacity (Full-time, Part-time, or Contractor) with generous extra paid leave, dedicated professional development days, and flexible clinical hours.
  • Thriving & Modern Support: Access to state-of-the-art Sydney clinic hubs, peer-to-peer recognition rewards, structured multi-disciplinary cross-training, and industry-leading clinical supervision.
