K Soul BBQ Restaurant is located in Raby bay harbour Cleveland, Queensland, You will be working with a young, friendly and vibrant crew, all eager to learn new skills. We are a busy venue and good location with amazing potential, producing quality Korean authentic food. This is a hands-on position with the opportunity to grow with the business in its success. We currently operate 7 days for lunch and dinner, with possibility of a 5-day working week to achieve that work/ life balance. The position is a full-time. The roleWe're looking for motivated Restaurant Chef to manage our kitchen, support our teams, and grow the brand with us. Qualifications & experience Ideal for the role

• Strong knowledge of food and hygiene industry trends and best practices
• Minimum qualification Diploma plus 1 year’s experience or 3 years’ experience in lieu of formal qualifications
• Excellent functions management skills Asian Cuisine Proficiency
• A passion for food and restaurant operations
• A can-do work ethic and the ability to take initiative on projects
• Ability to lead, motivate, and build an efficient team in a fast-paced environment
• Strong leadership ability, approachability, and a reputation as a role model
• Characteristics reflective of K Soul BBQ Restaurant’s ethos: self-motivated, positivity, service-oriented, flexible, and ethical with a high degree of integrity

Your tasks You will:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant
• Understand and take action on key metrics (e.g. Strong Food Knowledge, Food Presentation, and Stock Control) to allow for future growth
• Manage all expected reporting, Create Standard Operating Procedure with Food presentation
• Deliver superior customer service, to every customer, every time
• Maintain critical standards of product quality, daily food safety and sanitation
• Role model and reinforce K Soul BBQ Restaurant’s people and culture standards
• Supervise and coach team members to grow with us.
