It focuses on long-term residential care, respite, dementia, palliative care and rehabilitation-style wellness programs for older Australians.An Aged Care Worker helps elderly people with daily living, health support, and emotional care in nursing homes, retirement villages, or private homes. Work Description of an Aged Care Worker Typical duties include:Assisting elderly people with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toiletingHelping with eating and meal preparationGiving medication remindersSupporting mobility (walking, wheelchair assistance)Cleaning and maintaining a safe environmentProviding companionship and emotional supportMonitoring health changes and reporting to nursesAssisting people with dementia or disabilities Aged care workers may work in:Residential aged care facilitiesHome care servicesHospitalsCommunity care centersPay: $4,500.00 – $5,700.00 per monthBenefits:
