- Warmly greet clients and answer their questions about prescription drugs and services.
- Handle prescriptions precisely and effectively while ensuring all rules are followed.
- Inform patients about how to take their medications, potential adverse effects, and storage requirements.
- Maintain medicine and supply inventories, ensuring the counter is adequately stocked.
- Keep the counter space neat and orderly to create a friendly environment for patients.
- Collaborate with chemists and other medical specialists to guarantee the best possible care for patients.
- Manage transactions and keep thorough records of all customer interactions and sales.
Qualifications & Experience
- Prior pharmacy technician experience is highly beneficial.
- Familiarity with how medications are administered.
- Experience in patient care enhances client service quality.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities are required for effective interactions with clients and coworkers.
- Ability to perform well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- One year of experience at the pharmacy counter is recommended.
