Consultant Breast Radiologist

We are seeking a substantive or 12‑month NHS fixed‑term Consultant Radiologist with a subspecialty interest in Breast Radiology. The position is based at a University Hospital with easy access to central London and Essex, and the Trust employs over 3000妖. Radiology is part of a newly formed access directorate that also incorporates aws outpatients.Job-spinner

• 2 breast clinic "one-stop" sessions per week
• 1 cold breast list (biopsies, cold referrals and follow‑up US)
• 1 acute CT
• 1 hot reporting
• 1 cold CT
• 1 cold MRI
• 2 SPA
• 1 "on call"

On‑call duties are one in 10, roughly 5 weekend days a year and 3 evening weekdays a month. All CT work is outsourced from 7 pm to 8 am, so there is no overnight shift. Given the on‑call commitment, one day free per week could be organised, typically resulting in working four days a week; this will be confirmed during interview.Qualifications

• GMC registration – essential
• Specialist registration – not essential for this post (overseas applicants meet GMC registration and will be issued a Certificate of Sponsorship if required)
• Experience in Breast and General Radiology preferred
