Design Manager / Project Manager – Water Te whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity Due to an internal move, we’re looking for a Project Manager to join our Southern Water team in Christchurch. In this role, you’ll be hands on supporting the delivery of water infrastructure projects across a range of sectors. - Supporting project delivery, including managing scope, budget and programme
- Coordinating multi-disciplinary teams and contributing to design development aligned with client expectations
- Building relationships with clients and participating in meetings and workshops
- Identifying and managing project risks
- Supporting construction monitoring activities where required

- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in project or design management, ideally within water infrastructure e.g. three waters, treatment plants, pipelines, or networks
- A relevant Engineering degree
- Experience working across multidisciplinary teams and be willing to engage with the client.
- Have a foundation in commercial awareness and an understanding of project delivery principles
- A proactive and organised approach, with strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to health & safety
