- Manual lymphatic drainage
- Pregnancy/Post natal massage
- Rehabilitation and recovery- based treatment
- Sports injury management
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ physical condition and injury history
- Develop customised treatment and rehabilitation programmes tailored to individual needs
- Apply manual therapy techniques, including massage and mobilisation, to aid recovery
- Provide advice on injury prevention, fitness, and conditioning strategies
- Support clients through education on proper techniques and post-injury care
- Collaborate with coaches, physiotherapists, and other healthcare professionals to optimise client outcomes
- Stay informed about the latest developments in sports therapy and related fields
Requirements
- Relevant qualifications in sports therapy or a related discipline recognised by professional bodies (ITEC, BTEC Level 5, VTCT or equivalent)
- Previous experience working with athletes or active individuals
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate clients effectively
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
