- Assist with the preparation and processing of meat products according to company standards and safety regulations
- Operate specialised equipment used in meat cutting, trimming, and packaging processes
- Ensure all products meet HACCP guidelines and food safety standards at every stage of production
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area in compliance with hygiene protocols
- Conduct quality checks on meat products, identifying any defects or irregularities
- Support the team in meeting production targets while maintaining safety procedures
- Record data accurately related to production volumes, weights, and quality control measures
Skills
- Knowledge of HACCP principles and food safety regulations is essential
- Experience or familiarity with food production processes is desirable
- Mechanical knowledge beneficial for operating and troubleshooting processing equipment
- Basic maths skills for measuring, weighing, and recording data accurately
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a busy environment
- Attention to detail to ensure high standards of product quality and safety standards are maintained
