This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about optics, patient care, and precision work. You will play a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality eye care services.Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble, fit, and repair spectacles to a high standard
• Interpret optical prescriptions accurately
• Carry out ordering lenses.
• Provide advice to customers on frame selection, lens options, and aftercare
• Maintain workshop equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards
• Support the optical team with general administrative and clinical tasks as required

Requirements:

• Previous experience as an Optical dispenser is preferred but not essential
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A proactive and positive attitude

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with lenses
• Knowledge of optical products and terminology
• Familiarity with NHS or private optical services
