Job Type: Full-timePay: £27,000.00-£39,000.00 per yearBenefits:
Work Location: In person
- Assemble, fit, and repair spectacles to a high standard
- Interpret optical prescriptions accurately
- Carry out ordering lenses.
- Provide advice to customers on frame selection, lens options, and aftercare
- Maintain workshop equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Support the optical team with general administrative and clinical tasks as required
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an Optical dispenser is preferred but not essential
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A proactive and positive attitude
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with lenses
- Knowledge of optical products and terminology
- Familiarity with NHS or private optical services
