Technical Skills (Must-Have)
- Strong expertise in Guidewire Claim Center (configuration + integration)
- Proficiency in Gosu programming
- Experience with Guidewire Integration Framework
- Hands-on with Web Services (SOAP & REST APIs)
- Messaging integration: XML/XSD, JSON, JMS, MQ
- Knowledge of Integration Patterns (async, sync, batch)
- Experience with Middleware tools (MuleSoft, Kafka, TIBCO, etc.)
- Working knowledge of GW APIs (Cloud API / Integration Gateway)
- Database skills: SQL, Oracle / PostgreSQL
- Version control & DevOps tools: Git, Jenkins, CI/CD
- Exposure to Guidewire Cloud (GWCP) preferred
- Debugging & performance tuning of integrations
Functional Skills (Must-Have)
- Strong understanding of P&C Insurance Claims lifecycle
- Knowledge of Claim Center modules:
- FNOL (First Notice of Loss)
- Exposure management
- Reserve & Payments
- Recoveries & Subrogation
- Experience in business requirement analysis & mapping to integrations
- Ability to work with underwriting, policy, and billing systems interfaces
- Stakeholder communication & onshore-offshore coordination
- Leadership in integration design, architecture, and governance
- Experience in data mapping, transformation, and validation
- Understanding of compliance & audit requirements in insurance
Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead design & development of Claim Center integrations
- Define integration architecture & best practices
- Develop and review Gosu code, APIs, and messaging services
- Manage integrations with external systems (Policy, Billing, 3rd party vendors)
- Ensure data mapping, transformation, and validation
- Handle SOAP/REST services and async messaging
- Perform code reviews, troubleshooting, and performance tuning
- Collaborate with business stakeholders & architects
- Guide and mentor development team members
- Ensure quality delivery, timelines, and compliance
- Support testing (SIT/UAT) and production deployments
- Manage incident resolution and system stability
